Whether you're stepping into a studio for the first time or returning after years away, our adult classes welcome you exactly as you are. Designed for adults of all backgrounds, you will find a supportive environment to learn, reconnect with your body, and fall in love with dance.

Ballet Instructor: Nina White

Nina has been teaching dance for over 35 years, with a focus on ballet and Limón-based modern. She trained at Joffrey Ballet School, José Limón Dance Foundation, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, and received her BFA in Dance from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. While attending NYU, she became a founding member of Second Avenue Dance Company. She has also performed with Pearl Lang Dance Ensemble, Labyrinth Dance Theatre, Parparim Dance Ensemble, and more. We are thrilled to bring her extensive experience and enthusiasm to our adult students at West Jersey Youth Ballet!

Jazz Instructor: Nancy Dafgek

Nancy is a Broadway-trained dancer, performer, and teacher with a strong classical ballet foundation. After beginning her training with the New Jersey Dance Theatre Guild, she went on to study theatre arts in New York City and perform on Broadway and national tours, including A Chorus LineMack & Mabel, and Coco. Her teaching specialty is Broadway-style jazz, blending clean technique, musicality, expressive movement, and storytelling. Nancy brings professional theatre experience into the studio, offering dancers a joyful, confident, and performance-driven approach to jazz.
