How to Enroll

If you'd like to be considered for our 2026-2027 Professional Program or Conservatory Program, an audition and interview/meeting are required.

Auditions will be held during the week of January 12-17, 2026. All students (current and new) need to register for an audition to be considered. Your dancer will attend as many classes possible for their level to determine readiness for these intensive programs.

For ages 10 and up, please upload a letter to the Directors written by the dancer answering the following questions: "Why are you interested in joining the program?" and "What are your dance goals?" This letter can be uploaded on the audition registration form.

If you are new to WJYB, please contact us at admin@westjerseyyouthballet.com and we will schedule you in an appropriate class for your age and experience level.

The next step after the audition is the student interview and conservatory level placement meeting. This meeting is for both the parent(s) and student. Please book 1 per student. This meeting will include a mid-year review for current conservatory students as well. Please note competitions will not be discussed at this meeting; competition meetings will be held in May.
