West Jersey Youth Ballet

A conservatory for the aspiring young professional

West Jersey Youth Ballet aims to prepare dancers for the future, whether as a dancer, teacher, dance critic, or simply a patron of the arts. Our curriculum trains the whole dancer, from technique and artistry to dance history, musicality, and creative expression. Our dancers graduate with a sense of appreciation for performing arts, along with a sense of poise, body awareness, coordination and critical thinking skills.

We are proud to include the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 9 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.

In addition to ballet and pointe, we offer modern, tap, jazz, acro, and conditioning classes to help create well-rounded dancers.
Classes begin at just 12 months old with our Parent & Child program, Ready, Set, Move With Me! Dancers then progress to independent classes like Preschool Fine Arts Club, Ready Set Acro, and Pre-Primary Ballet. Tap, jazz, and modern are offered for dancers age 5 and up.

A dancer can join at any point in their dance education, from beginner to intermediate to advanced. We have classes for every age and skill level, and we'd be happy to help you find the right fit through a FREE trial class.
